The Spirit of Sanjaya

Grabbed an early dinner with a "Bunch of Bloggers" last night at this restaurant .
In attendance was Sorted, Mikell, Orlando's resident non-resident Lewis, and a new cat in our group Ctocity.

Hard to miss the irony considering what would be the fate of Sanjaya later in the evening.

Nan tara bhetuyaa Sanjaya

Sanjaya exits...America rejoices.

To quote President Gerald Ford when he took over for Richard Nixon, " Our long national nightmare is finally over..."

So true anonymous...so true!

Mike as to the comment you left on my blog.... now, you REALLY don't believe that do you?

Even the 10 year old girls grew tired of the bad vocals and Barbie salon hair styles each week.

Sanjaya will not be gone from the public...but THANK GOD, he is gone from American Idol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the world is free to put the focus back where it should be...Sanjaya's sister, the real talent in the family.

Don't cry. If Sanjaya is really is as good as you say he is, he'll be around for a long time.

Oh, you should see the shit eating grin on my face. I couldn't even type that without laughing.

Sanjaya made American Idol interesting again! I actually thought about asking my roomie not to delete it off the PVR when he finished watching it. Sad times indeed.

On an unrelated note, is there an Orlando bloggers schedule posted somewhere? I feel like I'm always missing out on the meetups! :-(

Sometimes it's hard to go to a restaurant of a certain ethnic cuisine, but when you see locals of that particular ethnicity patronizing the restaurant, it's got to say something good about the food. I hope that was your case at the Indian restaurant.

Sanjaya will return as the guest of some parody show in the (how do we say this...teens ((2010's)). It will be like watching old episodes of Sonny and Cher, but maybe not that good. ;-)

Soon we'll be on diet plans with all these get-togethers (guilty as charged).

What a great evening. And it all started with you tricking us into a toast to little Sanjaya......he's home now, safe and sound. Where he belongs. See you next week.
