It started with him

This image, this poster.
The year was 1972. I was 12.
That's when I knew....

....and nothing was the same after that.

What? You knew that you wanted to learn to swim?

OK - now that I know we are the same age... I can not tell you the number of times I beat off to that poster and really didn't know why...and looked from every angle to try to see down his suit...

Young lust... ~sigh~

OMG - I wanted to grow a mustache because of him so I could swim. I didn't realize i didn't want to swim, i just wanted to be in his speedo.

Wow.. I didn't have that moment really...

I can remember feeling weird that I was the only boy who wanted to play Charlie's Angels in 6th grade. That was 10 years old. Yes, of course I had to be Kelly Garrett.. duh!

I remember having their poster on my wall and being amazed that their eyes followed me around the room.

The first time I can remember being strangely attracted to a guy .... Tom Cruise in Risky Business. I wasn't as attracted to him as much in Top Gun... I guess it was the underwear dance!

I was a late bloomer though. I didn't "cross the line" until I was almost 28. Go figure!

I remember telling my dad I wanted to become a swimmer then. I think I wanted to because I thought I'd get to see men in those tight underwear.
